Job Description:

 We are looking for Junior Back-end Software Engineer

As a Junior Software Engineer at WirelessCar, you will be a proactive member of a collaborative engineering team where ownership, quality, and continuous improvement are key. You will work independently on well-defined backend solutions, taking responsibility for your tasks from start to finish while knowing when to ask for input or feedback.

Here’s what you’ll focus on:

 

• Develop, test, and maintain backend software components in accordance with requirements and engineering standards.
• Implement well-defined features and bug fixes.
• Write unit tests and follow established quality, security, and coding practices.
• Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and team ceremonies.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly and early.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks from start to completion.
• Continuously build your understanding of the system, architecture, and development practices.

Qualification & Experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java 11+.
• Practical experience with unit testing using JUnit and basic TDD principles.
• Experience using Git in a collaborative, team-based development environment.
• Experience working in Agile teams (e.g. Scrum or similar frameworks).
• Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (AWS).
• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• English, Fluent – Spoken and written.
