Job Responsibilities:
The System Software Designer will support the development of standard tools, libraries & workflows for system Model Based Development (MBD) in the areas of system tools integration, workflow automation, multi-disciplinary analysis automation, UI/UX design and software tool design.The System Software Designer will work with global, cross disciplinary teams to deploy & apply system MBD technologies to create the next generation of products for Climate Control & Security (CCS) and Otis.
Education
Master’s degree in computer science or Engineering or related field with 5 plus years of experience
Experience/Qualifications
Required Technical Skills/Education:

- Solid background in software design/development, database design and operating system (windows, Linux)
- – Extensive experience in integration of system software tools, workflow automation and multi-disciplinary analysis automation
- – Extensive experience in graphical user interface and user experience design/development
- – Experience in SharePoint development & webpage design
- – Experience in software development & programming: Python, Java, C/C++, C#, Matlab, Pyomo, Visual Studio, HTML5, XML, Visual Basic
- – Experience in software testing including unit testing & debugging

- – System steady-state and dynamic modeling capabilities (Simulink, Dymola)
- – System model simulation and optimization
- – High performance computing & cloud infrastructure
